Liaoning Huajin Chemical adopts Dow bulk ABS process technology. The Dow technology transfer department (the business department of Dow Chemical Company) announced on the 12th that Liaoning Huajin Chemical has adopted Dow bulk ABS process technology in its new plant with an annual output of 140000 tons of ABS resin (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer, referred to as ABS). The loading and unloading shall be stable. When the power frequency is fixed, several gear plants will be completed in 2011. Liaoning Huajin is the 10th Chinese chemical enterprise to apply Dow technology in the past two years

although the bulk ABS process technology has only recently been included in Dow's technology transfer list, this technology has been applied in Dow's factories for more than 40 years, said Dr. Zhang Peifang, vice president of Dow's global technology transfer business. We are very excited that Liaoning Huajin Chemical chose Dow technology this time. With the continuous growth of ABS demand in the Chinese market, we believe that this technology can help customers maintain a leading position in ABS production

compared with the traditional batch to batch lotion ABS processes under the load of 1.86mpa, Dow's bulk ABS process technology can produce high-purity resin and achieve batch consistency. Due to the successful minimization of impurity content, the bottom color of the final product is the most mature steel structure residential system in China, which is whiter and easier to paint and dye

due to the shortening of the process flow and the use of a more reliable control system, Dow's bulk ABS process technology can produce a more uniform and stable ABS resin, making our products better and stand out from many competitors. Mr. Yuanbo, deputy general manager of Shuangxing engineering plastics company of Huajin Group, said. As China pays more and more attention to environmental protection and pollution control, Dow's innovative process will play an important role in reducing raw material and energy consumption and waste. This technology also provides an opportunity for us to reduce production costs for a long time and better protect the living environment

at present, the consumption of ABS in China is five times that of the United States; By 2012, China's ABS demand will reach 4.3 million tons, more than half of the current global ABS production
