Five directions for the development of plastic packaging

according to the statistics of people in Taiwan's plastic industry, the world produces about 100million tons of scalded top plastic products every year, including 30million tons of disposable packaging materials. If corn resin can successfully replace some of the packaging plastics, it is estimated that there will be a market worth US $10billion per year

Therefore, the prospect of degradable plastic materials is broad and far-reaching. However, it should be pointed out that degradable plastics can not be regarded as a panacea to solve plastic packaging waste, and there are still limitations in packaging application performance, especially in a variety of food packaging, whether it can adapt to it still needs to be studied
